in Cutting tax
Hi,
I have just registered as a full time student and am giving up work to study. I have been paying tax all this tax year on my salary which goes at source and I also pay BR tax on a pension of £2700p.a from the RAF. As I will have no employment income for the rest of the financial year can I claim back any tax?
Many thanks
Helen

You might be able to claim some back yes.
But as its halfway through the year its preferably done at the end of the year. And I would assume you can't claim it back because of the pension.0 -
Waiting until the end of the tax year is not moneysaving!
You need to download form P50 frm www.hmrc.gov.uk and send it to your tax office wit your P45. there will be space on the form to mention the pension.£705,000 raised by client groups in the past 18 mths :beer:0
