DLC Full & Final Payment advice pls

Hi,

We are will be in a position to offer a full & final settlement figure to Direct & Legal Collections. They have taken over an old Co-op Loan that h2b had years ago. He has been paying back £150 a month, interest free and now with our remortage imminent we can clear the balance.

We think his latest balance will be about £1700, but has its interest free h2b thinks they may not accept a full & final.

What does everyone else think ?

DLC have been phoning every week since he told them he will be able to clear the balance soon. I think he should offer less. DLC also told him its not their decision to accept less and that he should contact Co-op.

Anyone else dealt with DLC ?
