:mad:My partner and I applied for a loan and because i am a discharged bankrupt and he has a poor credit rating we were sent to FLM,who [TEXT DELETED BY ABUSE TEAM FOLLOWING COMPLAINT] said we were guaranteed the loan if we had a guarantor!!which we dont-[TEXT DELETED] GO loans!!!they wanted £55.99 but we told them we had already paid FLM and didnt get the loan with them but GO loans PROMISED we would get the loan if we paid the money so we did and they said the paperwork would be with us in 5-10 days,16 days have now passed and we havent recieved a thing plus my partner has been on the phone everyday since day 5 and all he gets is we will contact the lender and ring you back but no-one every rings us back so he rings them again the next day and the same story,so today he asked for the lenders number and rings them.....its only FLM AGAIN who we have told on numerous occasions we dont have a guarantor!!!we are at the end of our tether now because we really need a loan to buy a new car. Can anyone recommend a reliable company?

All of these so called brokers will gladly promise you anything you want to hear as long as you pay them their fee, unlikely anyone actually gets what they were promised though.
If you speak to the complaints department advising you did not receive the agreed loan they may refund part or all of the fee, always worth a try as they have not fulfilled the agreement.
Do you really NEED a new car though or merely WANT a new car, if you have gone bankrupt before and are associated with poor credit history would it not be best to save up rather than take out yet more credit?
Just a thought, I obviously don't know the full details but just my opinion.
Could you not get by with a run around? I bought a Fiesta from Ebay for £195 and worked perfectly for nearly 2 years and then I sold it on.
