Hi All
Is there a thread already on keeping chickens in your back garden.
I am thinking about rescuing 4 battery chickens for egg laying. We have a good sized back garden and we can convert part of the summer house to make a coop and make a chicken run on some spare ground at the side of the summer house.
Has anyone decided to keep chickens? Was it simple? Anyone with regrets?
BTW my next door neighbour is a Victor Meldrew (I might get a couple of Roosters just to tip him over the edge, joking)
All advice, support etc welcome

Thanks for that pink.
I have traweled through some of the links and there's some great advice. My only question at the moment is: How do I find out if there is a clause on the deeds of my house banning livestock. We only moved in May and I think my deeds would be with my mortgage lender.0
