I was being really good and packed my lunch for work again this morning. I placed my lunch by the front door as norm and finished getting ready upstairs. I was already feeling hungry and was thinking about my sarnies and what crisps to have with them etc. Anyway, as I was leaving I went ot pick my lunch up from near the door to just find an empty bag with slobber in it - one of my parents dogs and polished off my lovely sarnies!!!!!! I was gutted and didn't have time to make any more so am going to have to spend some money today instead!

 I'm sorry but I had to laugh. :rotfl:
I don't think I would put any food where a dog could get it.
A costly lesson learned.

Im sorry, but that is quite funny. You might not have a nice HM lunch anymore but at least you have a funny anecdote to tell people today!

Oh yuk....that is disgusting! Poor you! Don't feel bad about having to spend money on sandwiches in these circumstances, as Rikki said....it's a lesson learned.
I like to do something everyday to improve my financial awareness and if I was you I would say that already today you have had a financial lesson and also it has shown others about this financial pitfall to avoid! Dogs and sandwiches don't mix!
Enjoy your lunch!:coffee::snow_grin"Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow........":snow_grin0 -
I'm sorry, that really cheered me up. :rotfl: :T
Dogs can be a right pain can't they?A minute at the till, a lifetime on the bill.

Next time leave a couple of chillis in the bag with your sandwiches.A house isn't a home without a cat.

if its any consolation i've had a bad packed lunch day too. dd school rang me at 12 to say her packed lunch was empty and should they give her a school dinner, have realised i must have put the full one in the washer, as they are both cloth type bag ones, to wash with sandwiches in. that'll be lovely when i get home!!!!!£2 saver club 30th sept 198 £2 coins = £396(£350 banked)0

Another one having a bad day here - turns out OH underestimated one of our debts by £500 and potentially a futher £493 if he can't get some charges removed (BH previously agreed they would remove them but they haven't been)
Also, washing machine broke down last night, and Currys only pricematch within 10 miles so I'm trying to find somewhere else that does a nationwide price match and stocks Hotpoint washing machines. Pfft.0 -
well when i was brushing my teeth this morning, I managed to catch the piece of skin inside my mouth that attaches your gum to the inside of your chin. Its been bleeding every so often through the day and it really hurts, so I cant smile even if I wanted toWealth is not measured by currency0
