I have been browsing the forum and the test panels like Tesco.
They seem to be nice for random freebies but why wait for them to send you some stuff you may like or not.?
A few years ago I worked with a canny old guy who brought his own packed lunch, always had butties and salad..and his sweet treat which was the only thing that was different each day. We once asked him why he only really changed that item, why biscuits one day and a pot of yogurt the next?
He got them free was why, when he saw a new product that he fancied or had liked when his missus bought it he wrote to the company and sang their praises thanking them for such a nice pproduct....almost always they wrote back, and either sent a voucher, gift or freebie "have some on us" type of thing.
I do this from time to time and it gets a decent response about 90% of the time and it's always something useful that I wanted because I choose the company.
It doesn't work as well by email, paper is best. I'm not sure but I think writing by mail is 100% reolies so far and email about 50/50
All it costs is a stamp. Last thing i got free was a cool razor pack with blades that would have been around 20 quid in the shops which I thought a fair return
Good luck if you try it.
