Gordons Gin £10 a litre

When you spend £30 or more in Tescos (the spirit cannot be part of the £30 though).
The offer also applies to a whisky and a vodka too but I can't remember the brands.

it is teachers whisky and eristoff vodka!
i got my whisky today and the offer didnt come off as the SA has to press an offer button on the till and she didnt know about it.
So i went to customer services and had £17.92 as double the difference back!!
so basically i paid £1 for a 1 litre bottle of teachers whisky!

how do you get double the differance m8, ive had a few times been overcharged an only get my money back??

Pretty sure it's on until 4/10/09. I had a look last night but decided to spend £30 there and then whilst they had stock of the gin in.

That's the thing see the customer services hope you dont know about the Double the difference on misprices Policy which is basically any mistake on their part then they should DTD!

I'ts not well advertised but this is the policy!
I went to customer services and they initially only gave me back the difference, i then rang Head office and they told me the DTD still stands so i went back and asked for my DTD!
Needless to say the CS lady was not happy but it is our right. next time politely mention Ohh great that means i get double the difference now!:rotfl:

well i went in today and they never took the amount off when at till, when i went to the cs desk she said to pop my card in and she would refund the £7 odd i was overcharged. said dont i get double difference she said no because its a user error. I said i should still get it and she went away for ages and came back and said i shouldnt be getting it but they would do it on this occasion! i said that its their own policy and showed her the thing on the wall behind her:rotfl: so my bottle of vodka cost me a couple quid in the end:T I would never have known about dtd or to make sure i get it if it was not for this site.

They do try to pull the wool over our eyes but we know better lol:T
