Half price champagne and half price dining

Got this email this morning from a restaurant I used once, and although it is in a hotel, the prices of their set menus were very reasonable. But what intrigued me most was their half price champagne offer with Taittinger and Moet & Chandon both at £49.00. Half price £24.50. Tesco price £26.98. And you even get a plate of nuts.

Not sure if this is allowed but a friend of mine has just started a business importing artisan Champagne. He was actually born and brought-up in the region and knows his stuff. He doesn't sell any of the 'big boys' champagnes like Moet and Piper. It's all artisan, small producer Champagne which is at least the same quality, and at a fraction of the cost (he keeps telling me it's not cheap, it's good value!)The full website is yet to be launched but he has a wine list available to download.Check it out:https://www.degustation.co.uk0

Thanks Iceberg- looks good but he doesn't have my fave Canard Duchenne Grande Cuvee.......can he get it?Happiness is wanting what you have, not having what you want.

Keep an eye on his site. When it gets its official launch I'm sure that there will be many more varieties available. Maybe send him an email if you've got any questions.0
