free pen and ribbon

i sent of a cheque to cancer research uk a few months ago, and today in the post they sent me a ribbon to wear and a pen, i was donating from the goodness of my heart - they didn't have to send me a pen, but it was nice

Thats to keep you sweet, the next time they have an appeal you will receive all the charity bumpf via the post. And if you gave them your phone number, they will be calling you shortly to sign you up to direct debit.
Cancer research uk are one of the biggest clients of Pell and Bales, a fundraising marketing company, who telephone fundraise, and charge the charities a big fat fee

I received in the post yesterday the same pen and ribbon. I never requested it and I haven't donated. It was inside an envelope that was with the junk post.
