Brita Filter cartridges

I've just done a search, but couldn't find anything..........

Anyway, I'm looking for some cheap Brita filter cartridges. I thought I had one left in the cupboard, but evidently not. Is there a place that's doing a deal at the moment or a place that is consistently cheap?

Thanks

  • Try e-bay that's where I bought my latest lot and they are genuine and much cheaper that elsewhere. I used to buy from watercoolersdirect http://www.watercoolersdirect.com/ They are cheap if you buy 6 months supply at least.

You can get the Kenwood cartridges which fit the Brita filter from amazon which costs £8.95 for a pack of 6. I bought it lastweek and haven't noticed any difference. Here is the link

I also tried Wilkinson's own brand cartridges which are also far cheaper than Brita (slightly expensive than Kenwood's) and they fit without any difficulty and water is as tasty as ever (I actually thought Wilko was slightly better than Brita's ones)

Asda do what they call universal filters 3 for £4.50 ish. Seems ok but I did fit them to Asda filter jug as it was cheaper by £1 than a Brita one. I assume they would fit a brita.

  • would you let us know how you get on with the asdabrand. I've got a Brita, which I use without the cartridges 'cos I didnt realise just how darn pricey they are. Water out of the tap in my area is perfectly drinkable anyway, Thankfully!!
