    Don't forget that what they do charge you should be claimed as a business expense for tax purposes.
  • I got caught on this merry-go-round a few years ago with having to renew a "permission to let" agreement with my lender every 6 months or so. In the end I refinanced with another institution who (at that time) were not charging anymore interest or fees for a rental.

    If you have the time and energy, I strongly recommend looking for an alternative provider.

    most conditions by the lender state that you must have the property managed

    it would be better for you also

    remember you have a responsibility as a landlord - to make the property rentable and follow regulations
