help needed with income and expenditure form

Hello all

Im in the middle of helping my father sort out a loan debt that he his now struggling to pay with the yorkshire bank. They have asked for an income and expenditure form to be filled in does my dad have to provide my mums income details the reason i ask this is my mum has her own loan payments to make and is just about managing. They said if he doesnt supply details then they will half his total on income and expenditure forms and use that to decide if his offer of payment is enough. This debt has only occurred since my father lost his job and had to go on incapacity benefit through ill health which may i add he had ppi but they refused to pay out and we are currently appealing against this.
Any advice would be appreciated

Thanks

  • Not sure,

I believe you put on a form, all the outgoings of the household, then put on how much his income in. And finally how much of a contribution the wife makes as well.

With regards to PPI they are nearly always mis-sold and do not cover anything. You can reclaim them back with interest. http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/reclaim/ Then http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/reclaim/ppi-loan-insurance

But do await for more advice from others.
