One of the things I like is a very cold glass of water with a good dribble of lime juice in it... It hasn't got that horrible syrupy fizzy drink taste and you can gulp loads of it.Good, clean fun....MFW #11 2015 £7657 / £88800

Thanks for all your suggestions everyone, I'm looking forward to trying these.
But after I posted yesterday about summer being here, today its freezing and pouring with rain, so at that rate I might not need cold refreshing drinks after all - where I live, the summer tends to last for about three days, it looks like its over now !! This evening it looks like a hot cup of tea might be in order instead...
thanks everyone0 -
There was a really easy lemonade recipe on the board last summer; I've just done a quick search for it but no joy. I remember the recipe, I just don't remember who posted it, so whoever it was, sorry for not acknowledging you.
Anyway:
Put a whole lemon (Skin, pips the lot) into a blender along with caster sugar to taste (I use about 2 tablespoons) & cold water. Whizz, strain, keep in fridge. Easy peasy!0 -
When i was pregnant with DD, i used to love a fizzy drink with a scoop of ice cream in it!!!!0
