6 months half price sky for those that have cancelled

I rang up sky the other week to see if i could rejoin for 6 months at half price (having left altogether a month ago), as a few people were offered this. However, when i rang i was told i needed a code for this and that they wouldn't just let me have it.

Does anyone have a code?

I tried that but they would not accept it. They said it was a code made up of numbers and letters.

HAs this code worked for anyone?

Was the code in a letter?

Hi folks, i'm with sky. Everytime my promotion ends I ring sky and cancel, I am normally without it for around 6 weeks and then they always ring me and offer me half price. This time i've got it for 6 months half price. If like me you think sky is pants anyway 6 weeks is not long to wait, although the wife does give me ear ache!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes it worked for me.
It in a sort of egg box (2d shape) flyer. It was sent to me early april has adverts for the new 24 and oceans twelve but the offer code is definately EASTER call 08706080427

Right then guys

I just called SKY on the following number - 08706 080 427

They didn't ask for any codes or whatlike. I simply went through to the scottish call centre and said i had received the offer of six months half price sky. She simply took my address and asked which package i wanted to go on and that was it. Will be connected in the next few hours.

Saved myself a wopping £120 by sticking to my guns and allowing my cancellation to take effect the other week.

Hurry up you only have until Thursday to take up this offer.

It is only available to those that have cancelled.

I would advise taht if you do get through and dont get the nice lady i got up to politely end the conversation and ring again and hope to get another assistant.

I too had Sky for 12 months.

Then 3 mths 1/2 price
Then 3 mths 1/2 price

Then cancelled on 01/05/06

Called on 05/05/06, and asked for 3 mths 1/2 price (as offer for new custs on website). I was immediately offered a further 6 mths 1/2 price, with no new contract. I'm not a high payer anyway, only the £18 per mth package, so now £9.

I didn't have to quote any codes.
