What's your costume?

What is everyone wearing for Halloween?
I really want to dress up as a dark/fallen angel think I will need cheap black clip in extensions and was going to cut up an old black dress. Was hoping to get some black netting or similar to decorate the dress with - any ideas?
We are allowed to dress up at work and then I think we will have a Halloween party at home or I'll be going out with friends.
What is everyone else wearing/doing for Halloween?

Possibly not what you wanted for a reply but I shall be wearing my pj's and when I open the door it is enough to scare the local kids (well it scares the hubby lol).
Seriously though my evening will be spent in pj's in front of the TV waiting for the locally kiddies to come trick or treating. Kate :hello:0 -
My dog is going to dress up as a wolf and learn to howl to scare the neighbourhood kids.
Noy sure if I'll dress up or not.. I have no real need to..0 -
Oh I was going to start this thread myself, I'm so excited about Halloween
My costume depends on how much spare cash I have although my birthday is on the 20th so I should have a bit of birthday money. My idea is either Cruella DeVille, or if I'm skint, just a gothy fairy probably as I have most of the clothes for that and I'd just need some black wings and a wand. I don't know what we're doing yet, probably staying in until about 8 or 9 for the kids to finish trick or treating (is this about right?) and then going out drinking.
D'you know, in 900 years of space and time, I've never met anyone who wasn't importantTaste The Rainbow :heartsmil0 -
I'm not sure.. People were still out here until about 11pm.. I should think most of the kids will be gone. Most of the younger kids anyway.0

Mine are always home made. Thinking zombie this year.0

I much prefer homemade costumes to shop bought ones, especially when some of the more unusual costumes are so expensive to buy! A lot of good ideas can be done using things you already own and just picking up a few accessories too, and still look as good as the ones you buy.
11pm, wow! I would have thought most of the kids would have been gone by then, I would have never been allowed to stay out that late when I was little. I'm making my little halloween goody bags again this year, they have some wrapped sweeties, a little plastic spider/rat/skeleton, and a glowstick bracelet in each one. I did these a few years ago and the kids absolutely loved themD'you know, in 900 years of space and time, I've never met anyone who wasn't importantTaste The Rainbow :heartsmil0 -
I hate how all the good costumes are so expensive. I think it's really stupid. Although making your own costumes can be really good too, as long as it's done right. I've made a witches chostume, spider costume for the dog, wolf mask, wands and hats as accesories, that sort of thing.0

I love halloween but sadly I am not going to any parties this year and I am too mean to open the door to the hundreds of children that come roundTaking responsibility one penny at a time!0

I must be a party pooper, but I dont see the point in halloween. It never used to big a big thing over here (My mum wouldnt ever let us go trick or treating as she classed it as begging) and I cant see why it is now! But enjoy yourselves those that do dress upSo much for 'Money Saving'0
