Nat West doing my head in

Hello people

I opended a co-op cash minder a\c and transferred all my direct debits for essentials (tv licence, utilites insurance etc) I wanted to cancel my dd to Nat West with whom I have a loan as there would be no money to pay it, I am on ESA and my redundancy pay has run out. they told me I could not cancel a DD that was due to them. Then today I had a letter from them telling me they are going to charge me as there were no funds in my a\c to pay their DD. What can I do, nothing probably as they have all the power. I am sending them my budget and a pro rata payment offer:mad:
