YouGov Log-In Problems

Hello,

Am I the only one who cannot log-in at YouGov anymore?

I am very close to getting my second £50. But now that the site has changed I seem to be stuck in a circle of my password not being recognised - I then change my password - try and log-in again and am just directed to the same 'change password' page over and over. I have tried logging in on several machines and followed the advice in the YouGov 'FAQs' all with no luck.

I have sent 2 emails to YouGov trying to sort this with no response.

Anyone else have this problem? Does anyone have any other contact details for YouGov?

Thanks

  • hi,
i found the same problem. have you tried entering in your email address with your password.
i tried 3 times using the usual username but this didn't work, then i tried the email address that was linked to the account and this worked.
worth a try, hope this helps

Sorry i am not sure how to sort this out but i just wanted to ask, how long did it take you to make the £50 out of interest?

2 years for the first £50 and 18 months for the second

the problem seems to have been resolved now - perhaps somebody acted upon my second email to yougov
  • The same thing happened to me and, as egg455 says, they have changed the username to your email address so use this and your current password to log-in.
I let my mind wander and it never came back!

I am having the same problem. The "reset your password screen" keeps telling me that the email address is not recgonised for this panel.
    I think I'll send another email .

i had a password problem with them a while back, emailed them and they sent me a new passwrd, no probs since........as for the question of how long did it take to reach the £50, i've been with them for about 20 months and barely halfway there! so it does take a long time. i quite like them though, as you're never screened out.

  • Sent another email tonight. The annoying thing is that I'm sure I was at £48.00 and my aunt asked for a referral! That would have got me to nearly £50.00 . It has taken me nearly 3 years now!

  • I'm having the same trouble getting into my account. I've emailed four times but YouGov seem to be ignoring my emails. I've been emailing them for two weeks now.

Good luck and I hope your problem gets fixed. I will post whenever mine does - that's if it ever happens. So far YouGov - that makes a fortune selling the results from the surveys we do - have been elusive. I had over 20 quid in my account and had had two £50 cheques so far.

Same problem here. Emailed them for the first time today.

  • Maybe all of the people who are affected should do a mass emailing. Emailing as an individual doesn't seem to work.

    Hope they answer your email.
