I've got 4 in mind.
The one I favour is the HP PSC 1410,
Brother DCP117C
Canon MP150
Lexmark X2350
Does anyone know if the HP one has re-fillable ink cartridges ?? It says in the description it has 4 ink cartridges ?? This one could be costly in the long run.
Anyone got any bad comments on these 4.

Only a good comment for the Brother DCP117. I'm very pleased with mine & wish I'd bought one sooner than I did.

The ink is cheap & widely available, which is a big plus point. A set of 4 inks are available from around £10 delivered. The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.
I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.0 -
The Canon is a cheap 'alternative' best buy in Which? at the moment, and scored better than the alternatives you suggest. Amazon have them at less than £50. I was going to spend £100+ but went for the Canon when I saw this.
It took a little while to load up, and you probably don't need/want the toolbars. I've only had it a week but it works fine; a bit noisy, and the paper feed has no support. At £50 my expectations weren't high, so I'm happy with it.0 -

They were recommended by somebody on the consumables board & arrived very quickly. The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.
