peterborough discount shopping
I have to spend a couple of days at Peterborough this week and will have time there and back on the journey for shopping. Are there any outlet places or discount warehouses South of Peterborough that anyone knows of?
I am travelling upwards (ie South to North) and just want to break my journey somewhere on the way.

There's a small shopping outlet at Serpentines Green (not far off A1, on A1139, Fletton Parkway, towards P'Boro) but it's not a discount warehouse. It's got a big Tesco's and other brand stores though and I can always pass an hour in there (but not much more to be honest.) There's a Huuuuuge Ikea warehouse but sadly they didn't incorporate an Ikea sore ! Hmmph
If there are any discount warehouses then I'd be interested too. Haven't been to P'Boro for a while so could do with a change of shopping scenery!0 -
south of peterborough there is a store called qd that stands for quality discounts .. cheap clothes and stuff.. if you get time there is a freemans discount place in westwood just north of the city centre called stage 2 you could get some bargains there. Serpentine green has tescos huge the outfit stores, next, gap, h&m, brantantos, evan, dorthey perkins, sports shop etc.
if you need directions to any of these pm me and i will only be to willing to help..Those we love don't go away,They walk beside us every day,Unseen, unheard, but always near,

There is a shop in P/Bro called Stage One in Westwood which sells all Freemans old stock really cheap with some of the current stock at half catalogue price mostly clothes but some baby stuff and electrical. If you are a freemans agent you can go to another warehouse (ask for directions from stage one) the clothes in the second place are so cheap they almost give it away, some times better than others. worth a visit though0
