I think it should be mentioned that the ticket page is being constantly updated, as tickets become available. Yesterday, I saw Semi Final (Dortmund) tickets suddenly become available, as people who had previously reserved them dropped out. I'd advise people who are still after tickets to keep looking on that page, as it does change often. Also, getting through to the checkout is almost impossible. You have to keep pressing "try again" every 30 seconds to even get into the waiting room. Once in the waiting room, you have to wait for hours to get any further. If you look, you'll see a letter R next to each match. This R will show up in bold if someone who has bought tickets decides to sell them through the site. You press the R to buy the tickets. (I've yet to see that show up yet, mind).MORPH3US wrote:Not any great games there, but if you want tickets to matches, get over to:

I've had no luck trying to buy tickets through their site. Luckily, Saveapenny's given me hers, so I'm off to see the Winners of Group B vs Runners Up Group A in Stuttgart.
Dear football fan,
You are in waiting area at the 2006 FIFA World Cup Germany™ ticket shop.
To improve the speed and ease of use of the service, we have imposed a limit on the number of visitors able to use the ticket shop simultaneously.
At regular intervals, you can make a fresh attempt to be re-directed. After the countdown (displayed below) has completely finished, a button labelled "Next Try" appears. Clicking this button improves your chances of progressing from here.
Once you have been redirected, you will not be directed into the waiting room again. Access to the following pages may involve long waiting times at peak periods. We recommend returning and trying again later.
Please be patient!
Do not click your browser's refresh button, as this causes the countdown to reset, decreasing the likelihood you will be redirected!
To try again, please use the button below which becomes active regularly after a short waiting period.
The above is what you'll see when you've selected your tickets, then try to buy them. If you're really lucky, you'll manage to get into the waiting area.Dear football fan,

Then you have to start the whole process again.Reservation not possible
Sorry, somebody was faster than you. The display of available tickets will be updated at regular intervals. But due to high demand it may happen that tickets are displayed as available in the overview, though they were meanwhile added to somebody else’s virtual shopping cart in the course of his or her ordering process. Therefore you receive this notice.
If the ordering process is not completed by this customer the tickets are made available for other potential buyers after a short while. Therefore, if you start over the ordering process after a couple of minutes, the tickets can possibly be available for you to buy again.
Thank you for your understanding. In a rut? Can't get out? Don't know why?

Keep trying. We got Australia Japan game tickets on a yellow. In the waiting area for ages and was about to give up. Checked this morning and a couple of games back on 'R'. But nothing to suit OH travel dates.0

Fifa's ticket buying process is the most frustrating and irritating experience I've ever endured online.
I couldn't sleep the other night, and had a look in at 1:00 am. There were loads of yellow tickets available. I added some to the cart, got in a queue, after 20 minutes of "do not refresh for 30 seconds" countdown screens I eventually got in. I was told the tickets I'd reserved were no longer available in the quantities chosen, and to pick something else.
I then repeated the same procedure again and again and again. In the end, in desperation I was picking tickets for the least desirable games I could think of, and couldn't even get tickets for those.
At 5:00am I was still faffing about, and in the end conceded defeat.::Quidco.com - £1100 in 11 months. Kerr-ching! ::0 -
The whole thing has been a steaming pile of poo from the beginning
It is set up to make sure as many people go to Germany as possible, so they have given out any tickets to anyone, without giving national organising bodies enough tickets
I am going to see Equador vs poland and South Korea vs Togo, having been successful for one of six games in the first and second ballot.
They sold tickets before they ha devent made the draw. FIFA don;t actually want too many fans from a particular nation there. Then they have the audacity to charge over the odds postage on each set of tickets.
It has only ever been a money making scheme from day one, but I got two games so I am reasonably happy.0
