Bank charges reclaim from Halifax

I bank with Halifax and I need to reclaim some bank charges (don't know the exact figure yet) but I wondered if anyone has done that successfully via the Halifax.

I have been told that the Hlaifax will go to court to avaoid paying back the chargs. Anyone had any experience?

Yes, both the halfix current account side and credit card side have refunded me both times

Id make sure you get all the exact figures and read this page

then come back here with any questions, make sure you know why the charges are un enforcable in court and stick to that story in ALL your contact with them

Hi I have just written to Halifax today too asking for a list of charges for the last 6 years. I plan to get my charges back too, not sure how much I'll be claiming for but it will probably be around £1000!:eek: I have already opened another bank account with A&L just in case they want to close the accounts, good luck in your claim rkh001!
