Seriously thought about reducing it to 15 but decided to aim high and keep me on track at 17 (shakes with worry and nerves!)

Lets see if I can surprise myself with some money saving skills :j

    NSD's in August 11/20
  • Please put me down for......20. Yes, the big two oh. Did 17 in September, from afar as didn't join the thread. Aiming to clear my Tesco card by year end and this is looking trepidatious as lots of extra spending needed this month - ie, pay balance of holiday we have booked, then a residential trip for DS2 with school, and the MOT due. Grrr.

BTW, I define a NSD for me as one when I don't spend anything on myself - household bills come out of our joint a/c, as do groceries generally (except for when that a/c runs out of cash, a la this month), and DS1/2/3 expenses normally funded same way. There are some days when I have to give DS2 dinner money, but I don't count that as it's hardly optional (he mostly has packed lunches but on days when he has rugby he needs the extra calories school dinners provide...or so he tells me....) I do count petrol as a personal spend as I guess I could always walk! I also do need a new shirt and a pair of trousers for work so have put those in my budget for the month too.

My weak spots are Saturdays so I have allowed for some spending on the 3rd, 10 and 17 but the 24th must be a NSD! And the spending that does occur on those days must be modest too.

    Good luck all, stay strong......
