Both Monday and yesterday were NSDs - only 1 more to go to reach my target! :j
Have to pay for my organic veg box today and DH is talking about popping into Mr L on the way home. Hope to find another NSD before the end of the month (Thursday and/or Saturday are looking possibilities at the mo).
Both DH and I are trying to fit our spending into a few days, rather than the drip-drip trickle of every-day spends. Perhaps this is why our budget is looking so healthy this month...and the freezer is pretty packed too!
BigMummaF - thanks so much for running this thread, :T:T
It really is helping lots of us to concentrate on what and when we spend our money. We will never get fed up of you!!
Have a good final few days of the month everyone.

Congratulations to you all, you've all done really well and have inspired me to join you in November. :T***Dont save what is left after spending, spend what is left after saving***0

I managed another yesterday, so am well & truly into double figures at last!
*If anyone fancies taking the reins for next month, please do hollerThe only reason I've been starting them is to keep the thread going, as I feel it does help focus the mind a bit & would hate to see it disappear into the ether. I don't mind continuing, but fear you'll get fed up with me at sometime :rotfl:
Please do continue! :T:A This thread is fantastic and you are doing a brilliant job. This is my first time on this challenge and it has REALLY helped me to stay focused. I look forward to hearing about everyone's progress each day and I'm sure that everyone will share with me when I say that it adds a little extra incentive to watch the pennies and make things stretch just that little bit further.
As a consequence of the 13 NSDs I've had this month I reckon I've saved more than £65 just on taking packed lunches to work and not buying coffees etc! More if I add in other little things like not buying a newspaper and reading online instead, for example. If everyone added up or estimated their savings as a consequence of their NSDs I wonder how much it would be? One thing I can be certain of: if it wasn't for this thread mine would be a lot less. :T
I don't think I'm going to make any more NSDs before the end of Saturday unfortunately. However, the thread certainly helps the money saving habit - so I'm going for the lowest spending days that are possible. And, I'm looking forward to November's challenge.
Thanks BigMummaF and thank you, all! :T0 -

You are doing a great job xxx:TMFW on your mark0 -
Please carry on the thread MummaF, it's brilliant and really keeps me on the straight and narrow.
This will probably sound a bit sad but I do get a little excited posting on here and changing my NSD totals. I get more pleasure doing that than eating a bar of chocolate. It's when it gets better than a glass of red wine that I will really start to worry. So please carry on.. it's brilliant..
I had another NSD yesterday. I won't manage it today as going out tonight and posting letters.
Hope everyone has a good day..One debt in 100 days £384/1264(£865 left)Pay all your debt off by xmas 2014 £276/18864NSD 4 and 4 in a row0 -
