Has anybody used Jual for buying domestic appliances.

Hi. This is my first post so dont know if i am in the right forum. I am looking for a new double oven, done a search on a comparison website and a shop came up called Jual, they were a lot cheaper than anyone else, and the customer reviews were glowing. So i was wondering has anyone else heard or used this supplier. Thx

I was going to use them to buy my appliances but their delivery charges were higher than I wanted to pay (£40 to deliver 3 appliances). When I spoke to them on the phone a couple of times I felt like they were rushing to get me off the phone. If I had just been going to buy my oven (hotpoint DE47x, it was cheapest place even with delivery) I'd have probably used them but with all the other appliances I wanted I found another website whose price came close (£11 more expensive) and asked them if they could price match and they beat it by £29!

I used Jual Domestics last year to purchase an integrated washing machine - no problems with them, good prices and delivered when promised. I ordered over the phone they have a showroom near Pontefract, and it's there had a work colleague check for me. Good prices. Hope this helps.

I bought a large Hotpoint fridge freezer from Jual as checked on internet and theirs was the best price. Very happy with them item was in stock and delivered when promised. Only comment I would make is it was a large item and delivered by just 1 man,as my husband was working I had to get a neighbour to come round and help him lift it over the doorstep!

I haven't had a good experience with this company and would advise you to check if it is an item that is in stock in their warehouse - or if it is a special order. Mine was a special order and I have had no joy, they have had my money for 6 weeks :eek: and I have no goods and no delivery date in sight either!

I have used them a few times and they were fine, but you need to be aware that there are two tiers of delivery charges - one for unloading the items on your drive/doorstep, and one for bringing the items into the house, to where you want them. I hadn't realised I was expected to provide my own 'muscle' and moving equipment to actually get the items into the house; and I hadn't had to previously... .

I had a very very bad experience with this "outfit".I ordered a freezer from them which arrived damaged.I rang what i can loosely desribe as customer service department and got a very poor attitude.I did eventually get my money back.I also left a very honest review about my experience on a independant review centre,but soon had a phone call from Jual "director" threatening all sorts of things including legal action!! HUH all for an honest review.

OMG! you've had the same experience as me, only I bought a tumble dryer. When we unpacked it in front of delivery man there was a massive dent on the side. He was not going to take it back, saying that they would get someone to collect, but I thought how stupid, just take it back. I refused to sign for it and rang Jual Domestics for a refund. I put a review saying I was dissapointed with the damage and that I didn't think I would buy from them again. I got a call from a bloke who said he was the owner threating me with legal action if I did not remove my review. He was horrible and aggressive and I'm still shell shocked from this experience. What an awful company to treat their customers like this. It's a bit much when you can't even put an honest review.
Oh by the way if you want to see something really interesting about reviews and Jual domestics, type in s5h.net into google, click on the word "blog" and scroll down to index with letter J and click on Jual Domestics ltd and you will see a really in depth account of how one ( and loads more I reckon )customer has been treated by Jual Domestic, read the whole thing. I just found the article the other day. Wish I'd have found it sooner.

hi, i ordered 3 items .
a tumble dryer,a dishwasher and a fridge freezer..
i phoned them up and they said fridge freezer was sold out all over the country and it would be in stock in 2 weeks..i said to him will it truthfully be in stock in 2 weeks as i don,t mind waiting if its longer but i just want to know when to expect it..he said 2 weeks at most and the other items will be delivered at the same time even though they was in stock.
6 weeks later still no items ,i phoned and was told still not available ..
i checked for my fridge on other sites and they had it in stock so i cancelled juals order and bought somewhere else..
they did give me a refund very quickly with no problem.
i would not buy from them in the future as i did not feel comfortable with them.when i phoned them up the phone kept going dead and it took me quite a few rings to get through..
but like i said i emailed to ask for a refund and it was answered and refund given very quickly.

Anyone thinking of buying from dual domestics needs to read the site sg5.net urgently first,search for juals name,as negative posts get removed
