I have just had about enough of this website. I don't think it's even worth saving money to get a dose of people putting each other down and snidey remarks. this is to no-one in particular, just the general tone that i have noticed lately. (or perhaps was always there) not nice.0

On a lighter note, does anyone have The Sun bingo numbers? Thanks!0

Seconded!
THE TATLER MOC IS NOT FOR TESCO USE - NO MATTER WHAT ANYONE WANTS TO SPOUT BELOW ABOUT THE 'MOC SCANNING' OR 'BEING ACCEPTED' BY AN UNSUSPECTING TESCO CASHIER.
Sorry to shout...:o
Great news for those with a Waitrose nearby though! I feel a Telegraph shop coming on...:D
Order! Order! :rolleyes:0 -
agreed.
This site used to be about helping each other.
However now when you read anything about vouchers or coupons the "coupon police" come out and order people about. It seems as though you can only use vouchers if the coupon-royalty agree with it.
It is this 'them and us' thing that has fostered the bad feeling.
Funny attitude from someone who has only been a member since July this year..
There is no royalty, or them and us.. just someone stating the FACT that these mocs are NOT meant for use in Tesco. They can't get their money back on them and many stores/sa's are well aware of that fact. In your rush to save yourself an extra pound or two, perhaps you don't care that you could get an sa into trouble for taking these mocs, or get a moc clamp down in store?
The mocs clearly state Sainsburys, WH Smith and Independant stores, so using them is no different to handing over Morrisons or Sainsburys mocs for specific items, which everyone knows are not for use in Tesco. Its really not difficult.... :rolleyes:So your answer don’t be scared of failure

firstly I have been reading these forums for years but only joined recently.
secondly, we have heard all the same arguments time and time again. The oucpon police should just accpet that everyone isn't going to have the same ideals and ways of behaving so should just accept that.
Getting the same lectures time and time again does create a 'them and us' sentiment.
If people want to know whether a coupon scans in Tescos or whether it has a 99 barcode then that is a legitimate question.
And by the same token, pointing out that, although a coupon might scan in Tesco, it is not within the Tesco policy to use it, is also a legitimate response. So your answer don’t be scared of failure

I think its the attitude of telling other people what they can and can't do is the thing that annoys people.
Also we can assume that it does scan in Tescos as he protesteth too much...
you've not thanked any of the people who've posted useful info about today's papers. That fact, along with your username, says it all.
I rarely post on this thread but find the info posted on it extremely helpful so thanks to all the helpful people and byebye to the moanersAgeing is inevitable - maturing is optional0 -

Chantalle I was really grateful for this sort of advice when I first started using this site, I would have used this in Tesco before reading the many posts. I don't think anyone wants to tell others what to do, they just want the coupon policy to last. I want it to last and was happy for the advice.0 -

Exactly.
And those who post details of mocs don't actually have to bother, they could keep it all to themselves but they don't. Instead they come on here day after day to post useful stuff. I don't remember the last time Chantalle posted some coupon news - I 'must of' missed it?
If the Chantalles and Prestons of this world don't get the reasons for the occasional words of warning about coupons then don't come posting on here when your local store pulls the coupon policy due to abuse...:rolleyes:PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
