I have posted this in another thread, but thought it might get more advice if in a thread of it's own....
I bought the KM020 about a year ago and have rarely used it. With cakes/ batters etc I find that the beater leaves some flour etc unmixed at the bottom, despite altering the height etc. Any advice on this as if I could solve that I may be inclined to use it more???
I just ended up having to beat it all by hand and now don't use it at all.
Thanks for any advice.

Do you know, I have the same thing happen with mine - I usually end up having to stir it around, so will be watching the answers with interest, though more liquid recipes ie bread dough is fine in it.I'm not a failure if I don't make it, I'm a success because I :tried!0

Well, I do not have a food mixer, so no problem. I mix or beat by hand.If winter comes, can spring be far behind?
Spring begins on 21st March.0 -
Kenwood products are rubbish nowadays. I had a multichef in the nineties that worked brilliantly and lasted for years and years. So I bought a Kenwood the next time, it was nowhere near as good and less than a year later it was cracked and unusable just through regular usage . They just don't manufacture to the same quality they used to, I would never recommend buying from them nowadays.0

with our old Kenwood one time it got dropped
and it kind of landed on its head,if that makes
sense. We had the same problem just used to
use one of those rubbery scrapers half way
through the mix to loosen any stuck on the bottom.
I was so glad I never dropped it belonged to
DH,no I was the one set fire to it much later
on.I know I am a danger in the kitchen.Happy to say he
now has a new one exactly the same as the old
one right down to the stainless steel bowl.
It works perfectly.
It never occoured to me to buy a modern one
because they look really fragile,I think the head needs to
be realigned on yours.:j:j:j0 -
How would I realign the head?0
