Just done a cupboard inventory and lurking at the back is a tin of new potatoes I bought on a whim a little while back. Don't fancy them as an accompaniment on their own but am sure someone must have some other uses for them. Many thanks.
I'm not a failure if I don't make it, I'm a success because I :tried!

You could fry them as saute or use them sliced in fritata? in soup?
I'm not keen on them myself as they have a distinctive taste but perhaps using lots of seasoning would mask that0 -
Chuck them in a stew towards the end of cookin time.. yum.“Careful. We don't want to learn from this.”0

Tinned potatoes do have a very distinctive taste and texture - I'm very fond of them but I can quite see why some people aren't!
I think I'd go with shandypants' suggestion and throw them in a stew or casserole if you're not that keen on them - they go particularly well with tomato-y casseroles, imo - perhaps sausage, tomato and tinned potato?Back after a very long break!0 -
We won some a while ago at a charity tombola(!) and I put them in a veg curry - they tasted fine with all the spices and loads of other veg with them x xPay Debt by Xmas 16 - 0/12000

We had some this morning, chopped up and fried with sliced sausages and bacon with grated cheese melted over the top! (it was a bit of a "use it up" brunch!)Piglet

I have added them to a chopped onion and mince/gravy before and they were okay.

I'm not keen on them either, but imagine they might be ok for Bombay Style Potato?0

I quite like them but they are an acquired taste. I would deep fry them like little roast potatoes or roast them in the oven with some herbs and chilli.GC Jan £318/£350, Feb £221.84/£300, Mar £200.00/£250 Apr £201.05/£200 May £199.61/£200 June £17.25/£200
