Hi everyone
Can you recycle wood? And if so how? Or should I give up on the idea and send it to landfill?
Thanks

Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. (Link permitted by forum team)
Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

Our council has a wood skip at the recycling centre. Maybe yours does too?
Offer it to friends with wood burners rather than send it to landfill.0 -
Our council also has a wood skip at the local tip for recycling. What is it that you are trying to recycle? If it has been treated I wouldn't recommend it for woodburners or open fires.0

Our Council has a skip at the dump, the guy there said it all goes in to get shredded then makes conti board type wood.Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,
What it may grow to in time, I know not what.

It's broken furniture. Nobody seems to want it for burning, but I've followed your advice and looked up what the council will take at the tip, and yes, they take wood. Why didn't I think of that myself????
