Holiday to Alaska

Hi, has anyone travelled to Alaska? Was thinking of booking it for our honeymoon next year.
If so, how much can I expect to pay? Where did you visit? How did you get there? Any other info would be greatly appreciated :beer:

We have only been to Alaska on a cruise out of Vancouver. We stopped at Ketchiken, Juneau and Skagway. The highlight was a helicopter flight over 4 glaciers in Juneau. We landed at the Iditarod dog training camp on the top of one of those glaciers and spent over 30 minutes with them and had a go with them leading us round on a sledge. This was in May 09 and although it was white everywhere we and the folks with the dogs were in T-shirts and the sky was so blue. We booked it before we left with www.eraflightseeing.com

Can't really give you idea of cost because it was part of a longer holiday incorporating Calgary, Banff, Jasper, the Rockymountaineer, Vancouver and Vancouver Island.
