Hiya
I used to and then stopped because it seemed such a faff and I have found absolutely no difference whatsover in the quality of the bread

Sieving the flour is supposed to let in air but I dont usually bother unless I am making sponge cakes. I found the best way of improving bread is the length of time you take in kneading the dough as that helps to incorporate air so dont skimp on that part! Practice makes perfect!

Lol - I probably would have wondered the same when I get my hands on a breadmaker .... if I ever decide which one I want.....
