Income tax on earnings abroad?

in Cutting tax
I have been on a short term (3months) contract in Sweden and have been earning money from a Swedish employer. I will soon be returning back to the UK and don't understand the tax rules about bringing these earnings back home. any help would be appreciated thanks.

Assuming you are both resident and domiciled in the UK, then you are liable to tax on yur worldwide income, whether it is brought into the Uk or not. Credit will be given for any Swedish tax paid.£705,000 raised by client groups in the past 18 mths :beer:0
