I've only got Live Aid, Martin's Money Diet and some cheap DVD's on order so I guess it must be the Live Aid DVD?

They take the biscuit don't they? I'm not that bothered to be honest (see previous posts) but they timed it well - as the shops close :-/

Apart from that, I know some people really wanted it.

Well as someone else advised me on the Tesco vodka topic, it doesn't hurt to complain does it?

Think I might get my 'cmplaining head' on too. I've only complained a couple of times in my life. So far this year I've fired off 3 complaints!

    Good luck anyway ;)
  • I have also emailed their PR office with a similar themed email about watchdog, TS and national papers. Perhaps if everyone does this they will think about the bad publicity!!??
  • If this offer does'nt come off, the R1 dvd is available from DVD pacific for £15.02 delivered according to https://www.dvdpricecheck.co.uk
I've had a few disks from here (including the Live Aid one). No problems.

    Just checked,
This is coming up at £15.43 @ DVD Pacific. Cheapest R2 is £27.99 at Choices Direct. I assume everyone has multi region players now.

What a surprise!! I have just this morning had an email from WH Smiths to say there was a pricing error. At least they gave a 10% off link, the only trouble is you still have tp pay P&P.
  • Anyone remember this..........

    http://www.theregister.co.uk/2002/01/31/kodak_surrenders/

WH Smiths seem to do this so consistently i.e. advertise items for 'incorrect' prices then cancel orders, that surely the Kodak case set the precedent. In which case, WH Smiths should honour the orders.

I'm sure Watchdog would love to know how often WH Smiths do this ;D !
