I have two toddlers and currently have a leather two seater, was given to us second hand but has suffered from pen marks and sticky hands etc that come with children. Of the two, leather will be longer lasting but potentially harder to clean difficult marks off (like markers) whereas fabric is washable.
When we get another sofa, I plan to get one with removable covers which I can just take off and wash if needed whenever the kids make a mess.BSC #215/No.1 Jan 09 Club0 -
Leather! We had a fabric one with removable covers, found the colour came out when washing them ever without detergent in the wash, sticky finger marks, melted choc etc is not a problem on leather sofas and makes life more realxed in my opinion, quick wipe over they look great, the fabric sofas looked faded and well worn so fast by comparison & our leather ones were cheaper.0
