Just by way of a little update in case it's of interest ...
Somnus - rang and got an unhelpful assistant who didn't know answers and said all the factory staff had gone home so she couldn't check. So sent an email to their info@ mail address - a week later - no response. So phoned again on Friday lunchtime. Advised sales assistant that I had some spec questions. She told me that 'stockists should have all the info'. I asked whether that meant she wasn't going to help me with my enquiry, to which she replied along the lines of 'Oh for God's sake', then hung up on me! Phoned back and asked for supervisor - none available. Asked for email address to which I could direct a written complaint - can't find one. Very convenient! Second lady tried to be more helpful, but too late and too obstructive in getting hold of someone in a supervisory capacity. Decided that if this is their pre sales attitude, we're not interested in buying! So back to the drawing board for us now ... Never mind ...0 -

It sounds like some people just don't want customers.0 -
Hiya,
Its good to a forums like these!
To find a bed that gives you quality you do have to spend a fair amount on your bed. When your spending over £1500 the last thing you want is to find the same bed on the internet for £500 and guess what, thats what I got with Rest Assured! Luckily the drawers fell off the bed twice! The bed shop had to give me my money back! So thats why I bought a Hestia V2150 instead. I am very happy with it.
Now I need to find a bed for the children! Any ideas anyone?Hi There
We're after some mattress advice for an impending purchase, and see there’s a lot of good advice being given here, which is helping us to decide. I have a lumbar problem (discs) so need decent support. We’ve had a pocket sprung/memory foam for the last 4 years, and it was great, until the cat had a mishap and we had to get rid of it rather quickly! We’re looking for the same again, but perhaps a step up in quality.
Our list is down to:
Harrison – Memory Tailor – Expression (2000 springs)
Rest Assured – Pocket Memory – Domino 1400
Breasley – Salus – Memory Pocket 1500*
Somnus – Memory Touch 2000
* Might have to come off the list, as I now see it has 75mm memory foam (density unknown) and foam encapsulated springs, which seem to be a no-no. But it does come with a climate cover for cooling.
Do any of you lovely people have any knowledge or experience of any of these? All have seemed very comfy. The Somnus seems to be at the higher end of the market (compared to the other three). But I can’t find much else by way of detail, nor any reviews.
Be grateful for any advice.
Thanks, S0 -

The problem you had wasn't that you didn't pay enough, it was that you bought from part of the Silentnight group.
I see you are new to these forums, but have a search for them, and you will see what I mean.
As for the bed you bought, I hope you didn't pay too much for it? The memory foam is the right density, and on the upper limit of the right depth. However the spring count is a little too high, and it is non turn, so won't last as long as a two sided mattress. I'm not saying it is a bad mattress, but going by your opening statement you could probably have bought better spec bed, for less money.0 -
We too looked at the V2150 today, Found it very comfy, which is surprising as my wife likes the mattress to be very firm.
Why do you say the spring count is a little too high?
A local retailer has the V2150 at AUperking at £999.
Alternattively our second choce would be the Sleepeezee Royal Backcare 2000. at £679.
