M&S more days for returns up to Xmas

I'm pleased to be able to tell you that if you shop between the 1
October and 11 December 2009 you will be offered a refund up to and
including the 16th January, as an extension of our ordinary refund
policy.
So, instead of the usual 35 days, from Thursday 1st October you can return items up to 16th January. And I assume this can be anything within the normal returns policy - doesn't have to be a Xmas present. (I always ask for a gift receipt - even if the item is for me).
