OS maps at Smiths

OS landranger maps are now £6.49 each - but I got a reduction at WH Smith today when I bought 2.
The offer was buy one get one half price (i.e. £9.73) : but wasn't advertised in store. The assistant looked a bit surprised, but charged me the lower rate anyway.
A 2nd assistant said the offer starts tomorrow (i.e Sunday 14th May) and the computer had jumped the gun a bit. But I'm happy

In the past I have bought OS Landranger maps at their online site and had them delivered to the local branch for free. In this way I have often saved £2.00 on the instore price.Veteran Bargain Hunter -
