Divorce Mortgage

Hello
I am new to the site. No divorce as yet but my husband and I are splitting up. We have a young son and at the moment, although I have a good job, I only work part-time. We have a joint mortgage and the current lender says on my salary I could only borrow £40,000! Not going to buy much with that! I have heard about divorce mortgages which allow the maintenance sum to go towards the mortgage payment per month. Anyone have any up to date inof about this?
Many thanks

Check out Yorkshire Building society fresh start as I think they take into account
your income,Working tax credit, child tax credit, child benefit and maintence
Please stay away from the CSA if you can agree maintence between yourselves
Your husband/EX should pay 15% of his net take home pay
Check out there offset mortgages as well

Plenty lenders take into account maintenance.
However different lenders take into account different amounts
You dont give any figures, so difficult to say how easy this will be for you.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
