Is this legal?

Hope everyone is OK!

Just a quick questions, I have asked both of my DCA's to only write to me instead of the phone calls...one has complied,. the other one is still ringing and texting me about 6 weeks later...I have actually written to them again and asked them to only write to me, and yet this morning in the space of half an hour I have had 3 phone calls and one text! That seems excessive! Its always from different numbers though, I dont answer but then call back as I know if I dont recognise the number it will probably be them.

Is this legal? :mad: Getting peed off with them blatantly ignoring me! I have also sent a SOA and asked to pay £50 a month, and they have totally ignored that and instead are still sending me the standard threatening letters! :mad: Might go down there office and personally hand deliver my letters lol...

Did you send one of the template letters from this site about them not phoning you? If so then it probably said you would report them to Offcom, trading standards and the office of fair trading?

Now is the time to start reporting them ofr being 'in breach of the Communications Act (2003) s.127'.

Which DCA are you dealing with here?

If you haven't yet started your £50pm repayments it might be worth starting these even though they have ignored your letter - at least then you have shown willing to pay the debt should they ever decide to try and move it on to court.

Have you been sending your letters recorded delivery? (often advisable especially if its one of the less reputable DCAs out there)
