Smelly suitcases

we are going on holiday in 2 weeks so i just got my cases out of the loft and they are smelly,musty smell have wiped them all out and left them outside all day but they are still smelling,
what can i do to make them smell better without using products such as febreeze:confused:
when your life is a mess light one more cigarette its so logical!!

get up and dance,get up and smile,get up and drink to the days that are gone in the shortest while :T

    You could try scattering bicarb inside and then fastening the cases for a couple of days before hoovering it out or wrapping the bicarb in a paper towel and using it that way if you don`t want the stuff everywhere.

    Put a bunch of lavender in afterwards for a couple of days and that should deal with it.

    A few drops of cedarwood essential oil if you have it, mixed in with the bicarb should get rid of the smell and keep any moths away whilst the cases are stored next time.
    Some people hear voices, some see invisible people. Others have no imagination whatsoever :D

    two excellent ideas above - if you have any, a couple of drops of nice smelling essential oil on a damp cloth wiped around the inside may help too!
