advice needed on Boots advantage points

I've had a hunt through their website and can't find out how points convert to cash.
i know i get 4 points for every £, pluss all the double point etc extras, but what do the points actually mean?
what does 100 point = in ££'s?
Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it.
Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.

    1 point means 1p so 100 points = £1

Unfortunately you are unable to spend the points online though icon9.gif I heard a while back that they were considering it but nothing since. So to cash in on them you'll need to shop in store.

Shame really as there are loads of good deals online which are unavailable in the shops.

Best to wait till triple points events to rack up the points.....these are normally around bank holidays.....so they should have another one coming soon.

you get points for topping your phone up too which is good. & check the advantage card machines for extra points offers.

    Found this on the website:

You choose when you want to spend your points any time*, any day, and on just about anything in store...

    It's simple to spend...

1 point = 1 penny, so when you've collected 1000 Advantage Card points you'll have £10 to spend on everything in store apart from a few legal exclusions: postage stamps, giftcard/ vouchers, top up cards, prescription items, and infant milks up to six months.

With over 55,000 products to choose from in our larger UK stores you're bound to find something you love.

You need to pay the full amount in points. This total price in points will simply be taken from your Advantage Card Points total. When you get to the till in-store just hand over your Advantage Card and let the cashier know that you would like to pay with your points.

We're sorry, but points cannot be spent on https://www.boots.com or in Boots Opticians.

    *during store opening hours
