bargain bath from screwfix.com?

Hi there,

I'm planning to renovate a VERY small bathroom and I need a small steel bath (1500mm x 700mm) and found one for 79 quid with screwfix.com - the only problem being that we have to buy another item from their 'mix n match' range.

Can we order two of these baths, and then simply return one of them using the "I changed my mind...distance selling agreement regulations..." will this be ok?

I've been struggling to find a bath like that anywhere else so cheap.

I've been thinking about getting one of these baths myself. Shame you're in London or I'd have bought the spare off you. I love Screwfix in every way but this policy infuriates me (as does the minimum spend on kitchens).

Mmmm - I suppose you could order two and then return one saying it's not suitable - they might not even bother to pick it up. Otherwise, give them a call and be honest. The only other alternative is to try and find one through a local supplier, but it might cost you more than 2 off screwfix.

it's infuriating as the next cheapest bath I can find anywhere is nearly 150 quid. When the time comes to order it, I think I'll take my chances and try to flog the bath on ebay/gumtree.com or even the plumbers who are fitting it and see what I can get for it. It's worth a shot! :cool:
