A bit of help needed for a friend of mine!
Its her little boys birthday next week she has found a picture of this one online

She wants to try and recreate it which in itself isnt a problem but she has no idea what to use for the plants
Between us we managed to come up with lego trees, and plastic fish tank decorations :rotfl::rotfl:
Was wondering if anyone had any ideas that were more cake friendly

Personally, I'd go to the nearest hobby craft or pound shop and buy some plastic greenery. As long as you warn everyone that it's not edible (and keep an eye on any children) then it'd be fine. If you're worried about putting stuff 'in' the cake you could always wrap the very end in a lottle bit of tin foil.0

You'll probably find the plastic fishtank stuff is the cheapest option! That's what I'd use, although Ive got loads of sources having two lego and dinosaur mad boys. Ooh just had another thought, some of thos sets of plastic dinosaurs from the poundshops have wee trees and ferns in them!!
And chives for the long grass!!It's what is inside your head that matters in life - not what's outside your window

The top of a pineapple or similar for the ferns? Thinks chives are a good idea too.0

I did a pirate island cake one year and for the palm trees I used these things. Very brightly coloured but you do get green and yellow ones in the packs. I got them in Tesco if I remember rightly.Val.0
