Anyone who is the parent (or grandparent) of a small child will probably be familiar with the fantastic Aquadraw. Its one of my three year old's favourite toys. But, hers is a bit grubby all over, and has got some felt tip stains on it where she, for some reason, drew on it.
Has anyone any suggestions for cleaning the mat? Its almost ruined with dirt, so I am tempted to throw it in the washing machine on the grounds that even if it ruins it, I haven't lost much.
Any ideas?

I have washed mine after pen marks and general dirt. It didn't come out too bad, but you cannot tumble dry it.0
