I suppose no more than about £250 for accomodation for 2 ppl 2 night (fri and Sat) will pay extra for spa treatments would only be me would want those. Thanks all

Although it's a 3 1/2 hour drive, the Ice House in Ballina is really lovely - we were there in February on a special offer that would come within your budget. The restaurant is very expensive (there might be an inclusive deal for a meal)but there is a pub within walking distance. We both had Spa treatments which were fantastic. I told them when I booked it that it was our wedding anniversary and they gave us an upgrade to a suite, free drinks and strawberries dipped in chocolate on arrival - the advantage of going in low season - but very impressive!

Johnstown House (marriot hotel) just outside Dublin, their service is faultless, food fantastic and the spa is gorgeous.

I stayed in Jonstown House too, it was great, not too far a drive from Belfast. Did have spa treatments which were good.

HILTON half price sale ends today - book by 31st January for breaks all year. I booked 3 breaks through this - a family break for the 5 of us, 1 night in November for £79, a night away for the 2 of us in Templepatrick for £59 and 2 nights in Hilton Tower Bridge in London for the 2 of us in May for £215. Apparantly the one in Kilmainaime outside Dublin is supposed to be lovely. You need to be quick though, ends tonight, unless they extend it.
