    He should proactively contact Herbie21 re the parking tickets. If he can get the cases rescinded, then he only has to pay the original parking fine. She can advise him.

    With respect to the rest of it, I note from you other posts that he is not working and has a new-born child. They need to get their benefits sorted out before doing anything.

    I would suggest that he post his Statement of Affair here with rough detials of the debt (bank account !, credit card 1, etc.

    Despite what any creditor might say if they are on benefits, the only sum they should pay is a token £1 per month but.....

    If these debts were taken out years ago, he should not pay anything until he fully undertands the Statute of Limitations (assuming this is England and Wales).

    This is where Herbie21 is the specialist. I once posted a Statuatory Declaration for somone on here and it was the wrong sort of declaration. She can advise exactly what is needed for each type of debt.

    By the way, PCNs are a problem, but despite what they say, creditors can very very rarely get permission to send bailiffs for consumer credit.

    he has not currently got any of the PCNs in his possesion as they went to old addresses.
