Home made pastry - how long does it keep?

On Sunday I made a lot of pastry to make a number of apple pies. Unfortunately my motivation ran out before the pastry did:rolleyes:.
The pastry has been wrapped in the fridge ever since - can I use it today (Friday)or should I throw it away?
Thank you

I'm not sure how good the pastry will actually be, but if it's only flour and marge, both of which keep for that period of time then it should be ok, I would have thought? And you'll be cooking it on a reasonably high heat so that should kill anything anyway.
Don't hold me to this as I don't know for sure, this is simply conjecture on my part!
Also remember, that if this happens in the future, you can freeze pastry
Edit: is it furry? does it smell bad? did you use egg? all good questions to ask!**Thanks to everyone on here for hints, tips and advice!**:D

Thanks -no fur, no smell, no egg.
I have kept procrastinating rather than pie making or simply putting the pastry in the freezer.0 -
The only problem I've ever had with days old pastry is that it doesn't roll out as well anymore; a bit tough!0

you can freeze pastry or if you are going to do a lot of pastry in a short while make the pastry up to breadcrumb stage and put in a screw top jar it will keep in the fridge for a week, then when you want to use it just use what you want add water and if you are using - an eggBlessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light

It should be okay, although like others have said it might be a little tough.
Whenever we make pastry for pies, we save up the leftovers after cutting round the tin and roll up into a ball - this goes into a plastic bag the freezer. we do this every time and just add the extra ball to the bag. It's not long before there's enough to make another pie.;)Some people hear voices, some see invisible people. Others have no imagination whatsoever

Personally I think this should be fine. Wrap it in some clingfilm or similar to keep it airtight and moist.I have had many Light Bulb Moments. The trouble is someone keeps turning the bulb off

Definitely - in fact it'll be easier to work with (and it'll shrink less) when it's had time to settle.
Just wrap it up in some clingfilm and it'll be fine0 -
Yes...it will be much better for keeping and chilling. Just make sure thats its wrapped well in a plastic bag or cling film....so that its airtight!:)Less is more0

Definately agree with everyone it will be fine as long as it is well wrapped and you could make a bit extra and freeze it then just defrost and use as normalBlessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light
