Yeah, that's right.

But i noticed, it does say they'll deduct a month's payment via Direct Debit in arrears.

So, you have to subscribe for a month at least in order to get the Tickets surely (?)

I just sent an email trying to cancel and received a response saying i have to subscribe for 28 days to get the cinema tickets. I have emailed back complaining as this was not stated clearly etc.. - will keep you up to date

Yeah, i thought that was the case.

But shelling out 8 quid (only ordered The Sunday Times) in order to get cinema tickets worth around £50 ain't too bad.

How long do they take to send the cinema tickets?

just had email back from the times saying they have cancelled my subscription (after I've only received one copy of the Sunday Times) - they will be sending me my 6 free cinema tickets and that they will take the money out of my account or I can call up and pay on a number the gave me. What a result!

Cinema tickets come within 28 days they said too however last time I did this it took longer and i had to remind them I had not yet received them.

Hi all,

just wondering if anyone has received these cinema tickets yet. It has been a month already and there is still no sign of them. I am getting tired of hassling them for these tickets as I have phoned them already once.

Hi Jarinek

I know what you mean - I've been waiting for my tickets since July! Apparently they did send them out in August but as I was out of the country for 3 weeks they've got sent back to the main office. Anyways 8 e-mails later I am still waiting and spoke to one of their managers today who assured me that she's holding 6 Odeon tickets in her hand and that she will send them direct to me today - but I am not holding my breath. But let's just put it this way - I won't give up until I get those damned tickets.

Hi, i cancelled after 3 weeks of getting just The Sunday Times (so a £6 spend in all) and i received my tickets about 2 weeks after cancelling.
This time round, they sent the tickets via Recorded Delivery.

Maybe i was just lucky!
