There are two web sites which will give you the prices of every house sold in Scotland for the past few years.
https://www.yourhouseprice.co.uk
https://www.myhouseprice.co.uk
The first site will give a free search. If you were searching by postcode area it will only give three results.
However if you use the second site and type in the postcode of the area you wish to search it will give you all the addresses of houses sold in the area but will ask for payment for information on the selling prices.
So, you can use the second site to find the addresses and then the first to find out the selling prices saving you having to pay the subscription fee or £1 per search fee.

Smile and be happy, things can usually get worse!

I had a look at this and compared it to stuff I know from talking to my solicitor about particular houses and the free site gives you a selection but not alwasy the most current. Prices are moving swiftly so if you really need to know get onto your solicitor.0
