Well done Luc, very productive day. :T
I have painted the first of the 5 walls (it's a strange shape) in my new bedroom. Three blimmin' coats, and until it's dry, I wont know if it needs a fourth....whoever painted it green and blue with a space ship border previously was an absolute....oh wait, it was me....
Anyone any good at interior decor? Need help deciding what to do.
I am painting all the walls cream, and there will be a new beige/taupe/natural-y carpet. I can't take the existing border off (it's glued to the wallpaper underneath, which I'm not stripping because it's not textured, so it gives me a nice smooth, flat surface to paint).
Obviously, even when painted, you will be able to see the border is still there.
So my options are:
1. Get a new border (really not keen on this idea as I like minimalist, and flowery borders just aren't my style).
2. Paint the border in a dark chocolate colour and make a feature of it. Use dark chocolate as an accent colour in the rest of the room with artwork, cushions etc.
3. Paint it a very pale beige colour that only just stands out from the cream, so acknowledging that it is there, but still keeping everything pale and neutral.
I'd love to not have any border at all, but I'm stuck with it. What do you think?"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
Afternoon all dfw's. Just home from work, well not just but you get the idea. Hamster went to the vet this morning and was pts, she just wasnt willing to fight. The vet was agreed though (ex vets in practice tv series vet) and she only charged me the money for the injection and not the whole consultation. So anyways thought because it was a nice day I would sit out with the rabbit in the garden... Except as soon as I did our neighbours decide to cut their grass, which means the dog starts barking, bearing in mind they dont work and could have done it any time today its kinda !!!!es me off a bit. Ahhh well I am still staying here because its nice out....
Have a fab evening all and Happy Anniversary Spud :kisses3:0 -
