Asda, Shore Road?

Has anybody heard about the attempted child abduction that happened last week on the Shore Road in Asda? Apparently a girl was snatched and had her head shaved in the toilets before they found her? Is this true or another load of crap?

lol I heard this story but it apparently happened in Tesco Ballyclare, and it involved a young boy not a girl!!!

There's been an Urban Legend doing the rounds for years along these lines so I doubt if there's any truth in it.

same story went around Newry last Christmas, first it was Sainsburys in the Quays, then it was the toilets in the Buttercrane, never actually heard if either, or neither were true or false, but exact same story, (the head shaving!)
  • Thanks, I had seen it on the internet about it happening in other places but it makes you think! What sort of sick people in the world spread these kind of rumours in the first place?!
  • Heard that one when Forestside first opened years ago - a little girl went missing and was found in the toilet with her hair cut and dyed!

Also heard this story a few weeks ago, but it was meant to have been Sainsburys in Ballymena........

i read this post the other day and was reminded of it all day today..................my mobile hasnt stopped all day with the same text from ALL my friends and family along exactly the same lines and warning me to be vigilant in shopping centres and that it was true and send it on to all your friends-in fact its the same as those emails you get forwarded from your friends ect and i usually delete them before even reading them because i know what they'll be like, lol.
    the text reads:
please send this txt 2 as many people you can...3 children have been abducted,1 in forrestside last week,1 in sprucefield and 1 in bangor asda yesterday, but thankfully they were found.they were lured in2 the toilets while the parents shopped.1 child had their head shaved in order to disguise her and all the children had been changed out of their clothes.fortunatly 2 polish people r in custody but police refuse 2 put it on the news as they dont want a riot on their hands.it is believed that these sick people r abducting kidz in order to sell them abroad.we need 2 stop this,so please pass it on this is not a joke....my friend sent me this today xo
this is the first 'phone' version of this ive seen..........i dont like the way polish people are mentioned and as if its a police cover up.....causing tension in a community already struggling.
